Used to transmit application data by the individual and AFMSC/SGPA through appropriate command channels; evaluate and make appropriate recommendations concerning award of the advanced ratings; and as authority for publication of Aeronautical Orders by appropriate orders issuing authority.

Records are accessed by custodian of the record system and are stored in locked rooms.
RETENTION AND DISPOSAL:
Retained in office files until superseded, obsolete, no longer needed for reference, or on inactivation, then destroyed by tearing into pieces, shredding, pulping, macerating, or burning.
